The adults in the novel are the ones who do the abstract thinking; the teenagers simply doand their superior knowledge of computer skills allows them to take part in the parish council election in a retaliatory fashion that's effective because they understand their parents' weakest points and worst hypocrisies.

It's a good thing we never got to see into her head, because I'm sure I would have found more reason to hate her. The plot was really captivating, I honestly could not morhe reading.
